Kandinsky has begun regular art formation very much late, however since childhood thought of art much. After the termination of university there is a question of a choice. " Up to *) till thirtieth year of the life I dreamed to become the painter *) because loved painting most of all, and to struggle with this aspiration to me it was hard. <…> in the age of thirty years to me the idea - now or never was. <…> And consequently I have gone to Munich which art schools had at this time high reputation in Russia ", - it writes in the
memoirs.
In Munich are written not only the first pictures, but also Kandinsky's first critiques. Here it gets acquainted with other Russian
artists.
Kandinsky's picturesque style developed *) gradually, but already it was from the very beginning clear, that elements of Russian folklore (an icon, лубки) will play creativity of the artist the important
role.
By 1910 Kandinsky creates the first abstract cloths *) where following to a nature is replaced *) by its abstract reconsideration *). Over pictures are predominated with the form and color. By same time Kandinsky's art theory in which the concept of the Great Epoch of Spirituality * is made out also) plays the important role. It is an epoch of new art, paradise on the ground, the maximum development of spiritual abilities and moral principles, association of all mankind *).
Kandinsky's all activity is approach *) this new Spiritual Epoch. In 1912 in Munich art group " Dark blue horseman " *) is created, and Kandinsky is its active organizer. Exhibitions are spent, the almanac with the same name where the artist prints theoretical clauses, and also philosophical verses is
published.
After revolution of 1917 Kandinsky comes back to Russia and actively participates in propagation of new art. The national commissioner of formation Lunacharsky suggests it to create the project of the program of new Academy of Arts. Kandinsky with enthusiasm gets down to business *). In its opinion, the future Academy is the center of development of all kinds of arts: painting, music, theatre, poetry. During same time Kandinsky supervises over purchase *) many pictures of vanguard artists for various museums of the country.
Per 1921 Kandinsky leaves for Berlin under orders of *) Academies of art sciences and to Russia already does not come back any more.
In Kandinsky force, the health, the perfect steadiness *) was felt. And I did not understand: how such positive person could write those pictures? Kandinsky in pictures had a superfuturism. At futurists though something could be understood: a head, a hand, a leg. But at Kandinsky to understand anything it is impossible, as that it speaks …
